The SPRAI Recreation & Fun Department continues to develop and offer a wide array of educational and enrichment programs throughout the year for youth and adults. Several new programs are being offered for Fall 2009, along with "old favorites." A description of classes is listed below and many have links which will provide even more information.

ENCORE, ENCORE! Drama Kids International Returns
SPRAI’s popular drama program, Drama Kids International, returns in the fall beginning Monday, September 14. This internationally- acclaimed program is open to youth ages 6 - 12 years old with classes being broken up into two age groups: 6-8 years old (4:15 - 5:15 p.m.), and 9-12 years old (5:15 - 6:15 p.m.). These one hour classes are held after school and are designed to increase confidence, acting skills, and speaking skills in a fun atmosphere. The 13-week, fall program runs through Monday, December 14 (no class on Monday, November 23). Registration is $199/participant. Click here to register online or visit Club Sienna. Tumbling Classes
SPRAI is pleased to bring Wilson's Dance & Tumbling to Brushy Lake Fitness Center this fall! Classes include Jazz, Tap and high energy tumbling skills. Classes are designed to develop the tumbler's awareness of the importance of proper physical conditioning, coordination, music appreciation, and the art of performance. A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $25/tumbler per year is applied and tuition fees are $48/tumbler per month. Discounts are available for multiple tumblers within the same family. Road Trips: Active Adult (50+)
Active Adults Head to the Ballpark!
Sienna Plantation’s Active Adults (50+) will head to Minute Maid Park to cheer on the ‘Stros with a new season and new hopes of a championship coming to Houston! Lance Berkman, Carlos Lee and the rest of the Astros will take the field on April 7 against the San Francisco Giants, with a 1 p.m. first pitch - and we want you to be there with us at the third home game of the season! Enjoy field level box seats as we cheer the Astros on to victory in an early-season match-up versus the Giants! Space is limited to the first 25 registrants. Registration deadline is March 18! We're Heading Back to Coushatta!
SPRAI is headed to Coushatta Casino Resort once again, and we want you and your friends & family to come along with us! Join us on Saturday, May 1, as we head out for a day of fun on over 100,000 sq feet of gaming floor, featuring the games you like, the jackpots you love, thousands of reel and video slot machines including giant progressives with dream jackpots. Exciting Las Vegas-style table games including: Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Mini-Baccarat, live Poker room and high stakes game salons. Buses will depart Club Sienna at 8 a.m., and will return to Sienna at approximately 9 p.m. Registration fee is $20 for Sienna residents; $25 for non-residents (participants must be 21+ years). Bingo Night! 50+ at Club Sienna!
SPRAI will host our first 50+ BINGO NIGHT AT Club Sienna on Friday, March 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for Sienna’s active adults and their friends. The evening will feature an assortment of your favorite bingo games, with winners receiving prizes – with a few surprises popping up through the course of the evening! Refreshments will also be served. Don’t miss out on the fun! Space is limited to the first 50 individuals to RSVP. There is no fee, but the participation in the event is on a first come, first serve basis! You must RSVP! If you are not on the RSVP list, and all seats are filled, then you will not be able to participate, so reserve your spot TODAY! Stop by Club Sienna or call 281/778-CLUB to make sure you’re part of the game!
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any program or activity due to inclement weather or low enrollment. A service fee of $25.00 will be imposed for all returned checks and could result in refusal of future participation. Any requests for a refund of registration fees for a given activity should be made prior to the second scheduled class meeting. However, a service fee of $10.00 will be applied to all refunds and withdrawals with the exception of those due to program cancellation or medical/illness. Any requests beyond the second scheduled class meeting are at the sole discretion of the instructor of said class, and are still subject to the $10.00 refund/withdrawal fee.
