Home Improvement Request

Do You Have a Pool or Play Fort?  Any Landscaping Changes?  More importantly, did you get approval for these items?

Many Sienna residents do not realize that any physical change to the outside of their home requires them to submit a home improvement request form & application to the Modifications SubCommittee.  If approved, the Committee will issue the homeowner a permit for the change.  In fact, changes such as a pool, a porch swing, a child's play structure, a back deck area and landscape changes (adding a tree, taking out a tree) all require an approvalfrom SPRAI.

Some home modifications, such as a patio cover or deck are considered major modifications and as such require $100 application fee.  Pools are also considered a major modification and require additional deposit fees.

If you haven't received approval for such changes, then now is the time to do so.  Don't wait!

Click here for an approved list of plant materials considered to be appropriate for Sienna Plantation.  Other plant material may be used, but priority should be given to plants from this palette.

An additional  reminder:  all resale homes must have a certificate of compliance for all exterior home improvements prior to the sale of your home.  Get your certificate today -- don't delay your closing!
