SPRAI Youth Flag Football

Sienna Plantation Youth Flag Football League begins registration in June for the fall season (practice and game dates to be announced).   Age divisions for the fall season will be Junior (1st & 2nd grade), Intermediate (3rd & 4th grade), and Senior (5th & 6th grade). Youth will be taught to play the game of football by volunteer coaches in a fun and competitive, yet structured and skills & teamwork-based developmental league. Teams will play a 6 game regular season, concluding with an end-of-season tournament.  Practices will be held once a week at Camp Sienna and all games will be played on Saturdays, also at Camp Sienna. All participants will receive a uniform, participation award, and guaranteed playing time as team rosters will be constructed to ensure your child’s experience is a positive one. Click here to register; registration fee is $150 per child (Sienna resident), $187.50 per child (non-residents). Summer Time is the Perfect Time to Learn Spanish

SPANISH FOR CHILDREN -- It's Fun and Educational
Your children will learn Spanish in a natural manner through play, games, music, and conversation.  Children learn to communicate through dialogues, phrases, expressions and, drills that they can use with friends, other people and family “EN ESPAÑOL”.  Let them learn a second language the fun, natural way! 
Courses are offered on Tuesday/Thursday evenings, 8 classes total, and are separated by age groups:

June 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29

• Ages: Pre-K,1st and 2nd Grade – 4:45 – 5:30 p.m.
• Ages: 3rd, 4, 5, 6 and 7th Grade – 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.

Registration fee for this course is $120/course, or $15/class.

EASY AND FUN SPANISH FOR ADULTS
This course is a hands-on, interactive and dynamic program for ages 14 and above to learn Spanish.  The course is designed for adults with little or no background in Spanish.  We offer two levels:
Beginner:  Designed for those with no background in Spanish, or those who have traveled, studied a little or have some vocabulary, but struggle to form sentences.  This class will teach you introductions, numbers, colors, foods, parts of the body, articles of clothing, present tense, simple ways to express past and future.  You will learn to carry on a simple conversation, read, and even begin to write in Spanish. 
Courses are offered on Tuesday/Thursday evenings, 8 classes total:

June 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29; 7 – 8 p.m.

Intermediate: Designed to practice and further development of essential speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills; emphasis on conversation.  Classes take place Tuesday/Thursday evenings, 8 classes total:

June 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29; 8 -9 p.m.

Registration fee for either Beginner Adult or Intermediate level is $136/course or $17/class.

Junior Golf Program - Offered Through Sienna Plantation Golf Club

The Sienna Plantation Golf Club’s Junior Program has a full slate of camps scheduled for summer.  The Golf Club staff is committed to providing quality golf instruction for Sienna’s youth including those that are just beginning, brushing up, beginning competitive play or developing new skills. The summer program features a week long clinic that runs Monday – Thursday, from 8 – 10 a.m.  Clinics will address the fundamentals of golf, etiquette, and the integrity of the game. The clinics will provide a structured learning environment for youth, ages 5-14 years old.

The overall program includes six hours of golf instruction with course play on Thursdays, a Junior Golf hat, and entry into the Junior Golf Club Championship.  Children must participate in at least one camp/clinic week to be eligible to play in the Junior Club Championship on July 30.  Registration is $150 for members and $200 for non-members.  Registration is limited to the first 20 juniors that sign up.  Call 281/778-GOLF for more information or to register.
