Committees are a very important part of Sienna Plantation.  If you would like to volunteer on any of the committees listed below please contact the appropriate committee chair listed below or

Community Services Foundation Grant Advisory Committee
This committee reviews and recommends grants to the Board of Trustees of the SPCSF. The Foundation enhances services and resources to the community through the sponsorship of programs, activities and events in and around Sienna.

Landscape Committee
 
The Landscape Committee provides information to the community about lawn care and plants.
-Hosts a Spring and Fall flower and mulch sale
-Hosts Master Gardener Guest Speakers
-Yard of the Month judging throughout the year  and Holiday Decorations judging in December

Hearing Advisory Committee
The Hearing Advisory Committee is responsible for holding hearings for members to determine if fines should be imposed for deed restriction violations or privileges for lack of assessment payment. 

Modifications Sub-Committee
The Modifications Sub-Committee meets to approve or disapprove modifications, additions or alterations made on or to the residences and other improvements on the lots.  They also develop guidelines for modifications, using the Builder Guidelines as a primary source, for recommendation to the Board of Directors. 

Tennis Committee
The Tennis Committee provides a detailed review of matters related to policies, procedures, and operations of SPRAI’s tennis courts and programs and presents the recommendations to the Board of Directors.  They also provide recommendations regarding tennis facility enhancements and/or modifications.

Welcome Committee

New Sienna residents receive a New Resident Welcome Packet in the mail (once closing documents have been received at the Association office).  This packet contains a welcome brochure, an emergency preparedness manual, a CD containing our Standards to Live By and Deed Restriction inofrmation.  Committee members recommend design and content and assist in the delivery of the bags to new residents.

Pool Committee

The role of this committee is to provide a detailed review of matters related to the policies, procedures, and operations of the SPRAI pool facilities; and to present recommendations to the Board of Directors for final approval and implementation.

Sports Complex Committee
Committee Chair, James Bellinger,
Review options related to establishment of youth athletic leagues and based upon these options, make a recommendation to the Board of Directors on which youth athletic leagues should be designated as facility users at Camp Sienna.  Review and recommend policies and procedures to the Board concerning facility use agreements with youth athletic leagues at Camp Sienna.  Review and recommend to the Board matters related to the completion of recreational facilities and amenities for Camp Sienna.

Special Events Task Force
The purpose of the Special Events Task Force(s) is to bring the community together as a whole to provide exciting and fun entertainment throughout the year, including, but not limited to:
* Spring and Fall Concerts at the Amphitheatre
Fourth of July Extravaganza
* Spring and Fall Garage Sales
* Gingerbread Market and the Sienna Snowblast Celebration

Each of the Villages within Sienna have one or more Village Reps who are elected by the members.  The Village Rep’s role is to:

* Provide communications to and from neighbors to SPRAI staff and the Board of Directors
* Upon request from the Developer, provide input on commercial ARC matters
