Sienna Indoor Cycling

Indoor cycling (also known as Spinning) is a non-impact workout done on a stationary bike with an instructor as your coach, simulating an outdoor ride. The benefits of cycling include increased cardiovascular efficiency, lower body strength gains, and the motivation of a coached class with a ‘team’ of riders. The bikes are designed to work with a tension knob which the participant controls during the class, so you can work as hard as you want, or take breaks during the class.

Research has shown that one can burn as many as 400-700 calories in a one-hour class! The camaraderie built in a group exercise class such as this cannot be compared with any other classes currently offered.

The current six week session runs May 19 - June 29.   Packages offered are:

Package 1 - Tuesday/Thursday - Spin & Spin & Lift* on Friday, 5:30 a.m., Fee: $65
Package 2 - NEW! Monday/Wednesday - Spin & Lift, 5:30 a.m., Fee: $50
Package 3 - Tuesday/Thursday - Spin & Lift, 9:30 a.m., Fee: $50
Package 4 - Monday/Thursday - 6 p.m., Fee $50
Package 5 - Tuesday, 6:15 p.m., Fee $30 - This class is subject to cancellation
Package 6
- Saturday, 8:30 a.m., Fee: $30

*Spin & Lift encompasses 30 minutes of cycling followed by 30 minutes of weight training.

Registration is open to all, but class size is limited. Please contact Lynn Garcia ator see your Brushy Lake Fitness Center staff to register.  Please be sure to check out our registration procedures.  Class schedules are subject to change.  The next six week session will run June 30 - August 10.
