The Sienna Associations (also known as the Association) include the Sienna Residential Association (SRA), for the original seven villages (Anderson Springs, Avalon, Bees Creek, Shipman’s Landing, Steep Bank East, Steep Bank West and Waters Lake) – and the Sienna Community Association (SCA) for villages of Sawmill Lake, Sienna Oaks and Summerlake House.
Sienna is unique in that its residential Associations are managed on-site, something not every community can boast.
The benefits of on-site management are many . . . prompt response to questions, firsthand awareness of community issues, closer interaction with service providers and more availability for inspections, to name a few. On-site management allows staff and residents to develop a real trust, with greater residential involvement and staff response.
The Associations’ primary responsibilities include protecting and enhancing property values, maintaining common areas, enforcing deed restrictions, and providing lifestyle opportunities.

We hope you’ll find this new feature of use. As a reminder, if texting isn’t your “thing,” Sophia is always available online at Siennanet, 24/7.
Newsletter Changes
The Association has consistently maintained that a printed newsletter would only be produced if advertising revenue was sufficient to cover production and mailing costs. Unfortunately, our printer, who is also responsible for advertising sales and collections, has advised that this is no longer the case.
Declining advertising revenue, increasing production and postage costs, and a growing distribution list have made the current format financially unsustainable. As a result, the only practical way to continue producing a printed newsletter at this time is to significantly reduce its page count.
To address this, the Association and the printer have agreed to an interim arrangement that will allow time to evaluate the long-term viability of a printed newsletter and determine whether an alternative approach would better meet the community’s needs.
Civility – Vital to Our Community
Respect and civility are essential to keeping Sienna a safe and welcoming community. Recently, staff and contractors have experienced unacceptable behavior, including yelling, rude comments, and threats—this will not be tolerated. We understand that situations like traffic delays, deed restriction notices, denied modification requests, or amenity access issues can be frustrating; however, these frustrations do not justify abusive behavior.
We’ve also seen increased disruptive and unsafe activity, including “teen takeovers” and reckless use of motorized bikes and scooters. These actions negatively impact our shared spaces.
We encourage all residents to lead by example—stay respectful, informed, and engaged. Get involved, know the rules, and promote positive & appropriate behavior in community settings.
Together, we can keep Sienna a vibrant and thriving place to live through mutual respect.
